In Kingshot, hero development is one of the hardest decisions to reverse. Once resources are invested in the wrong hero, shards and EXP cannot be refunded. Choosing the right hero is the key foundation for steady account growth.
This Tier List covers all heroes from Gen 1 to Gen 6. The rankings are based on four major game modes: Conquest, Expedition, Arena, and Bear Hunt. It also takes long-term investment value and F2P accessibility into account, helping you find the best heroes to invest in when resources are limited.
If you do not have enough gems while building your Kingshot heroes, you can visit GamsGo to top up Kingshot at a 30% discount.

Kingshot’s hero system updates by generation. Each new generation of heroes has base stats roughly 20% higher than the previous generation. New hero generations are usually unlocked on a server about every 80 days, which means players on servers of different ages face completely different meta environments.
Kingshot Hero Tier List Overview
Before diving into the full rankings, here's a quick overview of how we've structured the tier list — and what each tier actually means for your investment decisions. The table below covers all 31 heroes currently available in Kingshot, ranked from highest to lowest based on overall strength.
S+ Tier
S+ Tier heroes are the absolute core picks in the current version. Whether in Conquest, Expedition, or Bear Hunt, these heroes sit at the top across multiple game modes. They should be your highest-priority investment targets, as they offer excellent long-term value.
| Tier | Hero | Class | Gen |
| S+ | ![]() Triton | Infantry | Gen 6 |

S+ Tier Heroes — The Best of the Best
These heroes consistently remain in the S Tier across independent evaluation sources, making them the core lineup most worth investing in throughout your entire Kingshot journey.
S+ Tier heroes share one clear trait: newer-generation heroes bring stronger base stats and more complete skill sets, while a few older-generation heroes still stay at the top thanks to outstanding team buffs, excellent scaling potential, and unique gameplay roles.
The hero's specific information is as follows.
Triton — The Ultimate Gen 6 Frontline
Triton is a Gen 6 Infantry hero and currently one of the strongest frontline units in Kingshot based on overall performance.
His skill set is extremely complete, allowing him to perform at a top level in both Conquest and Expedition. In Expedition, Triton can provide team-wide bonuses to defense, skill damage, and HP, making him one of the safest long-term investments in the current version.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Triton | Tidewill | Becomes invincible for 2 seconds and deals 140% AoE damage to nearby enemies | Conquest |
| Regal Wrath | Attack +24%, Defense +48% for 4 seconds | Conquest | |
| Striking Hit | Each normal attack deals an extra 28% damage to a random enemy | Conquest | |
| Expedition Passive | Team Defense +25%, Skill Damage +30%, Infantry HP +20%, Cavalry/Archer HP +30% | Expedition / Bear Hunt |
Once your server unlocks Gen 6 heroes, usually around day 360, Triton should become a top-priority investment. He is currently the most valuable Infantry hero to build heavily.
Vivian — The Offensive Cornerstone of End-Game
Vivian is a Gen 5 Archer hero who serves as an offensive core support and a strategic foundation for late-game lineups.
Her biggest value comes from her Expedition skill, Crouching Tiger, which permanently increases all enemies’ damage taken by 25%. This works like a damage multiplier for your entire army. No matter what hero lineup you use, having Vivian on the team raises your overall damage ceiling by a full level.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Vivian | Crouching Tiger | Permanently increases damage taken by all enemies by 25% | Expedition / Bear Hunt |
| Focus Fire | Deals concentrated burst damage to the target | Conquest | |
| Expedition Passive | Provides team-wide offensive support and damage boosts | Expedition / Bear Hunt |
Vivian is a must-build hero for late-game players. F2P players can obtain her shards through the Hall of Heroes and Swordland Showdown Shop.
Amadeus — The Infantry King That Never Gets Old
Amadeus is a Gen 1 Infantry hero and the only Infantry hero in the game with an offensive Widget, making him a core long-term investment for paying players, especially VIP 7+ users.
He has one of the strongest skill combinations in the entire game. When paired with his offensive Widget, Amadeus remains at the top even after five generations of hero releases. His Widget skill provides a multiplier bonus to rally troops, a unique advantage that no other Infantry hero can replicate.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Amadeus | Combo Slash | Performs three slashes, with each hit dealing 160%–224% Attack damage | Conquest |
| Arcane Swordship | Each normal attack deals 15%–23% Attack damage to frontline enemies | Conquest | |
| Onslaught | When HP falls below 50%, Attack increases by 16%–48% | Conquest | |
| Way of the Blade | Team Lethality +25% | Expedition / Bear Hunt | |
| Unrighteous Strike | Team Attack +25% | Expedition / Bear Hunt |
Amadeus is the best Infantry hero choice for paying players, and his Widget has the highest priority in the entire game. F2P players face a higher entry barrier, but his long-term value is still irreplaceable.
Helga — The Team Buffer That Defies Her Generation
Helga is a Gen 1 Infantry hero positioned as an offensive rally leader. She is the best alternative if you do not have Amadeus.
Her Expedition skill set offers excellent team value. Oath of Guardian gives the whole team a 40% chance to reduce incoming damage by 50%. Echoes of Valhalla increases team Attack by 25%, while Nature’s Balance increases team Lethality by 25%. For a Gen 1 Infantry hero, this level of team-wide support is extremely rare, which is why Helga remains competitive across multiple generations.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Helga | Fury | When attacked, has a 10% chance to increase Attack by 12%, stacking up to 5 times | Conquest |
| Oath of Guardian | Gives the whole team a 40% chance to reduce incoming damage by 50% | Expedition / Bear Hunt | |
| Echoes of Valhalla | Team Attack +25% | Expedition / Bear Hunt | |
| Nature’s Balance | Team Lethality +25% | Expedition / Bear Hunt |
Helga is the best offensive Infantry option for players without Amadeus. Her Widget priority is second only to Amadeus, and F2P players can obtain her through the First Top-Up Pack.
Marlin — The Archer Who Brings Damage and Control
Marlin is a Gen 2 Archer hero and one of the few Archer cores in Kingshot who can bring both damage and control.
His value comes from a well-rounded skill kit that supports both offense and defense. Wild Card gives all squads a 40% chance to increase damage output by 50%. Rumhead gives all squads a 20% chance to reduce enemy Lethality by 50%. Dynamo gives all squads a 50% chance to deal 50% extra damage. This level of team-wide damage support is the main reason Marlin remains in S+ Tier even after newer-generation heroes enter the game.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Marlin | Wild Card | All squads have a 40% chance to increase damage output by 50% | Expedition / Bear Hunt |
| Rumhead | All squads have a 20% chance to reduce enemy Lethality by 50% for 2 turns | Expedition / Bear Hunt | |
| Dynamo | All squads have a 50% chance to deal 50% extra damage | Expedition / Bear Hunt | |
| Lucky Hit | Triggers an extra stun effect after a certain number of attacks | Conquest |
Once Gen 2 is unlocked, Marlin should be a priority build. With his offensive Widget, Mistweaver, he performs strongly in both Arena and Expedition, giving him excellent long-term value.
Jabel — The Best Free Hero You’ll Ever Get
Jabel is a Gen 1 Cavalry hero who is automatically obtained for free on the second day of login, making her one of the most important early Cavalry cores for F2P players.
In Conquest, she can deal AoE damage while providing defensive value. In Expedition, she offers both damage-boosting and damage-reduction buffs, giving her a balanced offensive and defensive role. Her defensive Widget, Greaves of Faith, allows her to remain one of the strongest garrison heroes from Gen 1 through early Gen 3.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Jabel | AoE Strike | Deals AoE damage to nearby enemies | Conquest |
| Expedition Buffs | Increases team damage output and reduces damage taken | Expedition | |
| Greaves of Faith (Widget) | Defensive multiplier bonus for garrison leaders | Garrison Defense |
Jabel is free, easy to obtain, and has almost no entry barrier. She is a must-build hero during Gen 1, with a very high Widget priority for defensive players, right behind Amadeus and Helga.
Zoe — The F2P Tank Built for the Long Haul
Zoe is a Gen 2 Infantry hero obtainable by F2P players through Hero Roulette. She is one of the most cost-effective defensive cores in the entire game.
She is one of the best heroes for F2P players to prioritize for full stars. Her garrison value lasts from Gen 2 all the way into Gen 5, so she should never be abandoned too early. Her core mechanic allows her to instantly recover 40% of her max HP when her health drops below 50%, making her extremely hard to take down in long defensive battles.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Zoe | Agony Rush | When HP falls below 50%, instantly restores 40% of max HP once per battle | Conquest / Garrison |
| Web Attack | Deals 60%–84% Attack damage every 0.5 seconds and increases the target’s damage taken by 10%–30% for 2 seconds | Conquest | |
| The Unrighteous (Widget) | Defensive multiplier bonus for garrison leaders | Garrison Defense |
Zoe should be one of the first heroes F2P players aim to max out. If you are using Hero Roulette, she is one of the most important targets to focus on.
Alcar — Gen 4’s Finest, Still Dominating Late Game
Alcar is a Gen 4 Infantry hero and one of the strongest heroes of his generation. With both offensive pressure and defensive staying power, he serves as a key defensive pillar for mid-to-late-game lineups.
His kit combines frontline sustain with strong suppression. Boneshatter deals 98% line damage and increases enemy damage taken by 20% for 2 seconds. Second Wind restores 42% HP every second for 5 seconds. His Expedition skills are even more valuable, increasing Infantry damage output by 100% while sharply reducing damage taken by allied Infantry and Archers.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Alcar | Boneshatter | Deals 98% line damage and increases enemy damage taken by 20% for 2 seconds | Conquest |
| Second Wind | Restores 42% HP every second for 5 seconds | Conquest | |
| Expedition Passive | Infantry damage +100%; Infantry/Archer damage taken -70% every 5 turns for 2 turns | Expedition / Garrison | |
| Praetorian Guard (Widget) | Defensive multiplier bonus for garrison leaders | Garrison Defense |
Once Gen 4 is unlocked, Alcar should become a priority build. He is top-tier in both garrison defense and Expedition, and his Praetorian Guard Widget has high priority for defensive players.
S Tier Heroes — Strong Picks Worth Investing In
S Tier heroes are not far behind S+ heroes. They are still excellent in their own roles.
The main difference is that S Tier heroes usually shine in one specific game mode but are slightly less consistent across multiple modes than S+ heroes, or they may have a higher acquisition barrier.
Thrud — The Cavalry Force Multiplier
Thrud is a Gen 5 Cavalry hero obtainable through events such as Daily Deals, Hero Rally, and Strongest Governor. Her role is not to serve as a single-target damage carry, but to amplify the power of the entire team.
Her skills are designed for mixed-troop lineups, strengthening both Infantry and Archers at the same time. This makes her especially valuable in alliance rallies. Once Gen 5 is unlocked, Thrud replaces Petra as the preferred Cavalry rally leader, while Petra can still remain useful as a joiner.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Thrud | Ancestral Guidance | Cycles between increasing team damage output by 25% and reducing damage taken by 25% | Expedition / Rally |
| Battle Hunger | Enhances the base stats of Infantry and Archers | Expedition | |
| Conquest Skill | AoE Cavalry damage that pressures the enemy backline | Conquest |
Thrud is a must-build hero for Cavalry-focused players after Gen 5 unlocks. She is especially valuable for paying players, and her shards can be obtained through several major events.
Sophia — Confusion, Marks, and Pure Cavalry Mayhem
Sophia is a Gen 6 Cavalry hero obtainable through Hero Roulette and the Swordland Showdown Shop. Among the three Gen 6 heroes, she is one of the easiest to star up.
Her core skill, Puppet Master, deals 140% AoE damage and applies Confusion to enemies. Confused enemies will randomly attack nearby targets, including their own teammates. This counter mechanic makes Sophia one of the best answers to high-damage Gen 5 lineups.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Sophia | Puppet Master | Deals 140% AoE damage and applies Confusion to enemies for 1 second | Conquest |
| Scalding Mark | Deals 70% damage and increases the target’s damage taken by 6% for 4 seconds | Conquest | |
| Scalding Mark — Lash | Increases Sophia’s Attack by 24% and increases damage dealt to marked targets by 12% | Conquest | |
| Expedition Passive | Team damage taken -50% with a 40% chance; feared targets take 75% more damage | Expedition / Rally |
Once Gen 6 is unlocked, Sophia is worth targeting through Hero Roulette. She is the most F2P-friendly Cavalry option among the three Gen 6 heroes.
Yang — Gen 6’s Premier Archer for Burst Damage
Yang is a Gen 6 Archer hero with a base Attack of up to 7,200, making him one of the highest-attack heroes currently available in Kingshot. He is also the most F2P-friendly option among the three Gen 6 heroes.
Among the Gen 6 lineup, Yang is the only hero whose Expedition skills directly boost rally Lethality. His shards can be obtained through standard events, so players do not need to rely entirely on paid shops.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Yang | Kin Throw | Deals 140% line AoE damage and hits enemies again on the return path | Conquest |
| Combo | Has a 35% chance to trigger an additional attack round | Conquest | |
| Deadshot | Passive Crit Rate +15% | Conquest | |
| Avalanche | Every 4 turns, all squads launch an extra attack that deals 100% damage | Expedition / Bear Hunt | |
| Ambush | Increases rally Lethality | Expedition / Bear Hunt |
Once Gen 6 is unlocked, Yang should be your top Archer investment target. F2P players should save shards for him. When paired with Petra, he becomes one of the strongest Bear Hunt options in the current version.
Hilde — The Best Healer With an Offensive Edge
Hilde is a Gen 2 Cavalry hero and one of the strongest healing heroes in Kingshot. She also brings offensive value, giving her a unique position among support heroes.
Her Conquest skills allow her to heal allies while briefly disabling enemies. In Expedition, Elixir of Strength gives all squads a 25% chance to deal 200% damage, while Noble Path increases squad Attack and Defense. Her Widget, Revelation, further strengthens her healing and defensive value, making her a strong garrison leader as well. (Heaven Guardian)
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Hilde | Rejuvenating Plea | Heals all friendly heroes for 280% of her Attack | Conquest |
| Redeemer | Heals the weakest friendly hero for 140% of her Attack | Conquest | |
| Intimidation | Deals 196% damage and disables the enemy target for 1 second | Conquest | |
| Noble Path | Increases squad Attack by 15% and Defense by 10% | Expedition | |
| Elixir of Strength | Gives all squads a 25% chance to deal 200% damage | Expedition | |
| Trial by Fire | Has a 40% chance to reduce damage taken by 50% for all squads | Expedition | |
| Revelation Widget | Increases Hilde’s healing effects and boosts Defender Squad durability | Garrison Defense |
Hilde is worth building once Gen 2 unlocks. As a rally joiner, she can pair with Saul to create a rare dual-effect skill bonus combination, giving her excellent value for the resources invested.
Magot — The Arena Beast You Don’t Want to Facer
Margot is a Gen 4 Cavalry hero obtainable through Hero Roulette / Lucky Wheel. She is one of the strongest AoE damage dealers in the current Arena meta.
In Arena, Margot dominates with powerful AoE damage and a dodge-based defensive skill, allowing her to avoid burst damage while maintaining steady pressure. Her defensive Widget also makes her a top Cavalry choice for garrison setups. As a joiner, her Expedition skills are stable and reliable, making her especially strong for Bear Hunt stacking. (TRLST)
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Margot | Ambush | Deals 420% AoE damage | Conquest / Arena |
| Parry | Has a 25% chance to avoid all damage from enemy attacks | Conquest / Arena | |
| Stiletto | Deals 140% damage and immobilizes the target for 1.5 seconds | Conquest / Arena | |
| Warbringer | Increases total squad Attack by 25% | Expedition / Bear Hunt | |
| Subterfuge | Gives all squads a 20% chance to dodge normal attacks | Expedition / Bear Hunt | |
| Sleight Hand | Gives Cavalry a 25% chance to trigger an extra attack dealing 200% damage | Expedition / Bear Hunt | |
| Defensive Widget | Provides a defensive multiplier bonus for garrison leadership | Garrison Defense |
Once Gen 4 unlocks, Margot is a priority target. Arena-focused players should build her, and she also offers strong value in Bear Hunt, garrison defense, and offensive lineups.
A Tier Heroes — Solid Choices for the Mid Game
A Tier heroes are not weak. They are strong under the right conditions.
They perform well in specific game modes or during certain server stages, but their overall stability across multiple modes and long-term value are not as high as S Tier heroes. If used properly, A Tier heroes can still keep your lineup competitive when resources are limited.
A+ Tier: Eric, Rosa, Long Fei, Howard, Quinn
Eric is a Gen 3 Infantry hero positioned as a garrison core. With his defensive Widget, Anvil of Truth, he is one of the most stable city defense heroes from Gen 3 to Gen 5.
His high base stats allow him to consistently outperform lower-generation heroes in Conquest, while his strong defensive debuff kit greatly improves team survivability. If you already have Zoe, you can skip Eric for now. But if you do not, he is a reliable alternative for the garrison role.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Eric | Defense Boost When Hit | Increases Eric’s Defense each time he takes damage | Conquest / Garrison |
| Stun Skill | Has a chance to stun enemies | Conquest | |
| Anvil of Truth (Widget) | Defensive multiplier bonus for garrison leaders | Garrison Defense |
After Gen 3 unlocks, Eric can be built as a garrison Infantry hero. Players who already have Alcar can lower his priority.
Rosa is a Gen 4 Archer hero obtainable through Hero Roulette. Her biggest highlight is her ability to make the whole team immune to control effects such as stuns in Arena.
This team-wide control immunity is extremely valuable in the current stun-heavy meta. In Expedition, she also provides stable, non-probability-based damage amplification and damage reduction, making her a versatile hero worth getting for almost every type of player.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Rosa | Control Immunity | Makes the whole team immune to stuns and other control effects | Arena |
| Stable Damage Boost | Provides consistent damage amplification and damage reduction without relying on probability | Expedition |
After Gen 4 unlocks, Rosa is worth prioritizing through Hero Roulette. Arena-focused players should build her, and she also offers solid Expedition value.
Long Fei is a Gen 5 Infantry hero obtainable through Hero Roulette. He is the most accessible F2P-friendly Infantry option during the Gen 5 stage.
He has a strong defensive damage-reduction mechanism, while his Expedition skills provide broad team-wide support. This makes him the best garrison Infantry leader in the current Gen 5 stage. If you do not have Eric, or if your Eric is not fully starred, Long Fei is the best transition choice.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Long Fei | Mighty Paragon | 40% chance to reduce team damage taken by 50% | Expedition / Garrison |
| Celestial Sustenance | Increases team Defense | Expedition | |
| Invincibility Mechanic | Triggers brief invincibility in Conquest | Conquest |
Long Fei is the top Infantry choice for Gen 5 F2P players and should be a key target in Hero Roulette.
Howard is an Epic Infantry hero who can be obtained without heavy gem investment, making him one of the most practical transition choices when you do not have a top-tier Infantry hero.
As the strongest non-SSR Infantry option in the game, Howard can hold the frontline in Arena and PvP with high Defense and solid AoE damage. His Expedition skills also provide basic but useful defensive and damage-reduction support.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Howard | Shield Impact | Deals AoE damage and knocks enemies back | Conquest |
| Defensive Damage Reduction | Reduces damage taken by allies by 20% and weakens enemy output | Expedition / Garrison |
If you already have strong SSR Infantry heroes, you do not need to overinvest in Howard. But for players with limited resources, he is one of the best-value early Infantry options.
Quinn is an Epic Archer hero with a very low acquisition cost and easy star-up path, making her one of the best early Archer transition choices on new servers.
In Conquest, she provides stable single-target damage. In Expedition, her skills offer both defensive and damage support, making her a reliable rally leader in the early server stage. However, as higher-generation heroes unlock, her usefulness will drop quickly.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Quinn | Single-Target Damage | Deals strong single-target damage with a high Crit Rate | Conquest |
| Defensive Support | Provides both Defense and damage support in Expedition | Expedition |
In the early game, you only need to raise Quinn to 4 stars with minimal resources. Once Gen 3 unlocks, you can gradually lower her investment priority.
A Tier: Jaeger, Petra
Jaeger is a Gen 3 Archer hero obtainable through the Hall of Heroes. He is positioned as a garrison Archer and comes with a defensive Widget.
He has a 20% chance to increase team damage by 40% for 3 turns, and also a 20% chance to reduce enemy Lethality. When both effects trigger, his burst potential is impressive. However, he relies heavily on RNG, so his consistency is limited when used alone. He works best when paired with Rosa and other damage-boosting heroes.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Jaeger | Fatal Attraction | Deals 224% AoE damage and stuns all enemies for 2 seconds | Conquest |
| The Tempest | 20% chance to increase team damage by 40% for 3 turns | Expedition | |
| The Resistance | 20% chance to reduce enemy Lethality by 50% for 2 turns | Expedition |
Jaeger is the preferred garrison Archer during Gen 3, but his priority drops once Rosa unlocks in Gen 4. Heavy Widget investment is not recommended.
Petra is a Gen 3 Cavalry hero obtainable through Hero Roulette. She is the first hero in Kingshot with an offensive Cavalry Widget.
She is the default Cavalry rally leader during the Gen 3 stage. Her Widget skill, Cosmic Eye, provides an Attack multiplier bonus for rally troops. Even after Thrud unlocks in Gen 5, Petra can still remain useful as a rally joiner. Keep in mind that her Conquest skill has an extremely wide damage range, from 5% to 600%, which makes her actual performance highly RNG-dependent.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Petra | Change of Fate | Deals random damage ranging from 5% to 600%, or reduces the target’s Attack by 20% for 2 seconds, or stuns the target for 1.5 seconds | Conquest |
| Evil Eye | 50% chance to increase the target’s damage taken by 50% | Expedition | |
| The Favor | 50% chance to increase team Attack by 50% | Expedition | |
| Cosmic Eye (Widget) | Rally troop Attack +15%, offensive multiplier bonus | Rally / Bear Hunt |
Petra is a must-build hero for Cavalry players during Gen 3 and should be a key target in Hero Roulette. Her Widget has high investment priority, but after Gen 5, she is better used as a joiner.
B Tier and Below — Skip or Use Temporarily
B Tier heroes can help fill lineup gaps during the early transition stage, or provide limited support in specific areas such as base development and rally joining. However, as your server unlocks higher-generation heroes, their usefulness will quickly fade.
The core advice is simple: use the minimum resources needed to make them functional. Do not overinvest.
B+ Tier: Chenko, Yeonwoo, Amane, Saul, Diana
Chenko is an Epic Cavalry hero who is easy to obtain and one of the most important rally joiners in Kingshot.
Her first Expedition skill provides a fixed +25% team Lethality bonus. When multiple Chenkos join the same rally, the effect can stack, making her one of the key sources of Bear Hunt damage. However, she only has two Expedition skills, and her Conquest performance is limited, so she is not worth building as a main combat hero.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Chenko | First Expedition Skill | Team Lethality +25% | Rally / Bear Hunt |
| Defensive Skill | Increases her own Defense and Attack | Conquest |
Raise Chenko to 4 stars as early as possible to unlock all her skills. Stop your resource investment there. Further star upgrades or heavy gear investment are not recommended.
Yeonwoo is an Epic Archer hero who offers both rally joiner value and base development bonuses, making her a high-value SR choice in the early game.
Her first Expedition skill provides +25% team Lethality, the same type of bonus as Chenko but under a different effect_op, allowing the two effects to stack for a stronger overall boost. She also provides a +15% Research Speed passive bonus, which helps with base progression.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Yeonwoo | Lethality Bonus | Team Lethality +25% | Rally / Bear Hunt |
| Well-Traveled | Research Speed +15% | Base Development |
In the early game, prioritize raising Yeonwoo to 4 stars and pair her with Chenko. Her combat value will drop later as stronger SSR heroes become available.
Amane is an Epic Archer hero with unique rally joiner value. Because her effect_op is different from Chenko and Yeonwoo, her bonus creates a multiplier effect when stacked.
The stacking effect of Chenko + Amane reaches 1.56, which is better than using two Chenkos together at 1.50. This gives Amane a useful role in carefully optimized rally setups. However, her performance in Conquest and Arena is average, so she is not worth investing in as a main hero.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Amane | Attack Bonus | Team Attack +25% | Rally / Bear Hunt |
| Divine Melody | Increases her own Attack Speed after every 3 attacks until the battle ends | Conquest |
After raising Amane to 4 stars, use her mainly as a rally joiner. Further heavy investment is not recommended.
Saul is a Gen 1 Archer hero who can be obtained early through the $1 starter pack or Hero Roulette. His role is unique because his skill ID is different from Hilde’s, allowing the two to create an extra multiplier bonus when stacked together.
Because Saul and Hilde use two different effect_op types, their combined mathematical bonus is much stronger than a normal hero pairing. This is where Saul’s hidden value comes from in certain rally setups. He also has a growth skill that increases Construction Speed, which can help with base development on new servers.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Saul | Stun Skill | Stuns enemies for 2 seconds and increases Saul’s Attack Speed | Conquest |
| Defense Boost | Increases Defense when HP is low | Conquest | |
| Construction Speed | Increases Construction Speed through his growth skill | Base Development |
Saul needs to reach 4 stars to unlock his growth skill. His main value comes from rally joiner setups, while his direct combat role is limited.
Diana is an Epic Archer hero positioned as a practical damage dealer during the transition stage. Her skills are straightforward, but she lacks team-wide buffs.
Her Conquest damage is stable. Incendiary Arrows deals 290% damage to the main target and 98% splash damage to nearby enemies. Sharpshooter increases Attack Speed by 30%, while Deadly Strike adds 20% Crit Rate. However, she does not provide any Expedition team buffs, which makes her long-term value very limited.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Diana | Incendiary Arrows | Deals 290% damage to the main target and 98% splash damage to nearby enemies | Conquest |
| Sharpshooter | Attack Speed +30% | Conquest | |
| Deadly Strike | Crit Rate +20% | Conquest |
Diana can be used early to fill the Archer slot. Once you have a better SSR Archer, replace her immediately. Heavy resource investment is not recommended.
B Tier: Gordon, Olive, Seth
Gordon is an Epic Cavalry hero who can fill the Cavalry slot in the early game, but his combat value is very limited.
He offers some healing and stability in Conquest, but by the time you truly need a strong Cavalry hero, his stats will already fall far behind. After Gen 3 unlocks, he has almost no practical value in battle. Keep him usable with the minimum resources needed.
| Hero | Skill | Effect | Best For |
![]() Gordon | Cavalry Healing | Restores HP and helps stabilize the frontline | Conquest (Early Game) |
| Defensive Boost | Provides basic HP and Attack bonuses | Conquest (Early Game) |
Use Gordon only as a temporary filler during early Gen 1. Once Gen 3 unlocks, you can safely drop him.
Seth, Forrest, Edwin, and Olive are the four Rare heroes in Kingshot. They have the lowest combat power in the game, but each one comes with a unique resource-gathering passive skill.
Each hero is tied to a specific resource type: Olive is for Food, Forrest is for Wood, Seth is for Iron, and Edwin is for Stone. Their skills can increase gathering speed or passive production for the corresponding resource by 5% to 25%. This is the only value they are worth paying attention to.
| Image | Hero | Class | Resource Specialty | Combat Value |
![]() | Seth | Infantry | Iron Gathering | Very Low |
![]() | Forrest | Infantry | Wood Gathering | Very Low |
![]() | Edwin | Cavalry | Stone Gathering | Very Low |
![]() | Olive | Archer | Food Gathering | Very Low |
Only upgrade their resource-gathering skills. Their combat skills are not worth any resource investment.
Conclusion
Kingshot’s hero system is complex, but the core logic is always the same: investing heavily in 3 to 4 core heroes is far more efficient than spreading resources evenly across your entire roster.
From Gen 1 heroes like Jabel and Amadeus to Gen 6 heroes like Triton and Yang, each stage has clear investment priorities. The safest way to grow your account is to follow your server’s progression, invest at the right time, and avoid wasting too many resources on temporary transition heroes.
Whether you are a new player just getting started or a veteran managing multiple servers, this Tier List comes down to one simple rule: understand your current server generation, choose the right heroes, and focus your resources on them.
If you want to unlock higher-generation heroes faster and close the gap with stronger players, top-up value also matters. GamsGo offers Kingshot top-up services with transparent pricing and fast delivery, making it a reliable choice for accelerating your account growth.
FAQ
Who Should F2P Players Prioritize?
Start with Jabel — she's free on day two and remains relevant through Gen 3. Then focus on Zoe via Hero Roulette for garrison, and Quinn as your early archer. These three cover all three troop types with minimal resource investment and buy you time to build toward higher-gen heroes.
Should You Drop Your Current Heroes When a New Gen Drops?
Not immediately. Older heroes lose combat stat competitiveness in conquest, but their expedition skill buffs often stay relevant for much longer. Stop investing in stars and shards, but keep them in your expedition and bear hunt lineups until a direct upgrade is available.
Are Older Generation Heroes Ever Worth Building in Late Game?
A few, yes. Amadeus, Helga, and Marlin are Gen 1–2 heroes that still sit in S+ because their expedition buffs are irreplaceable — no newer hero replicates what they bring to team-wide damage and survival. Always evaluate the skill kit, not just the generation number.
